Unit: Character Design
We will be studying and analyzing the work of Charles Dickens's story of Oliver Twist as it is portrayed on screen, from the point of view of an animation student. We will study through the lens of Character Design, Storyboard Shots, Set Design Scenes as well as as Animate a short scene with dialogue.
The story takes place mid 19th Century, it's about an orphan boy and his journey of survival. According to Ronald Hardwood Screenwriter on the movie Oliver Twist, 2005. "The story is about a boy, a little boy who takes charge of his life, escapes from terrible trials and dangers, and emerges triumphant.
